YATAI Street Food Night - £37 per person 

This is a very casual supper night.

I'll be cooking popular Japanese street food dishes and serving them as they're ready.... Yep, just like a "YATAI" trailer on the streets of Japan! 

 

Nikuman pork buns

Steamed pork buns with Ankake sweet soy and ginger sauce. spring onion, toasted sesame.

 

Sushi rolls

Smoked salmon, avocado, cucumber and chilli mayo sushi rolls, radish and ginger pickle, wasabi.

 

Edamame and baby corn salad

Edamame beans, baby corn, baby plum tomato, brocolli and carrot salad with a sweet soy and garlic dressing.

 

Karaage chicken and Tempura cauliflower

Crispy Japanese-style fried chicken, Tempura cauliflower, lettuce, lemon and sweet sesame chilli sauce.

 

Curry udon noodles

Sanuki Udon noodles in curry dashi soup, topped with wilted spinach, panko sweet potato, spring onion, shichimi seven peppers and toasted sesame seeds.

"Teisyoku" is a well-balanced meal where every dish complements the others - just like a comforting home-cooked meal in Japan!   

 

Beginning

- Backweat soba noodle, smoked salmon, lemon, nori seaweed.

 

Main

- Chicken Nanban with Japanese-style sweet & sour sauce and tartar sauce.

 

Sides

- Takikomi Gohan -  Seasoned sticky rice cooked with edamame, bambooshoot, carrots.

- Spinach, leek and ginger miso soup.

- Radish and ginger slice.

- Rice wine pickled vegetables.

 

Sweet

- Coffee custard cheese cake, shaved chocolate, berries, ice cream.

- Backweat soba noodles in mild curry dashi soup, topped with Teriyaki chicken, panko sweet potato, wilted spinach, spring onion, shichimi seven peppers, and toasted sesame seeds.

- Teriyaki mackerel and beetroot sushi rolls.

- Smoked salmon.

- Butternut squash with ginger and onion.

- Rice wine pickled red cabbage.

- Radish and ginger slices.

Ramen Night is a set meal where all the dishes in the course are served together just like a Japanese noodle bar!

- Donburi rice bowl topped with "Kakuni" sweet soy tender pork, panko loin pork katsu with tonkatsu sauce, spring onion and toasted sesame seeds.
