- Supper starts 6.30pm (Door will open at 6pm)

- BYOB (Glasses will be provided) 

- Menu may change slightly on the day depending on seasonal availability.

- Pescatarian, Veg options can be available, please ask before booking.

Donburi Night - £37 per person

"Donburi" is a bowl of rice topped with a delicious mix of ingredients like meat, fish, or vegetables, all served together in one comforting dish.

 

Beginning

- Pan fried gyo-za dumplings with a sweet chilli and sesame dip.

 

Main & Sides

- Donburi rice bowl topped with char-grilled teriyaki chicken, chicken katsu with tonkatsu sauce, sesame aubergine, spring onion and toasted sesame seeds.

- Side salad with soy, onion, garlic dressing.

- Rice wine pickled vegetables.

- Spinach, leek and ginger miso soup.

 

Sweet

- Cheese cake with passion fruit and mango sauce and ice cream.

Ramen Noodle Night - £37 per person

Ramen Night is set meal where all of the dishes in the course are served together (apart from dessert!) like Japanese noodle bar!

 

Ramen Noodles

Miso ramen noodles topped with cha-syu- pork, wilted spinach, spring onion, nitamago soft boiled egg, nori seaweed, ra-yu chilli oil and shichimi seven peppers.

 

Sides

- Steamed syu-mai dumplings with tonkatsu sauce.

- Beetroot, mackerel and cucumber sushi rolls with wasabi and teriyaki sauce.

- Rice wine pickled red cabbage.

- Soy ginger radish.

 

Sweet

- Toasted houji-chya tea cheese cake, berries and ice cream.

Set dinner like Japanese noodle bar!

- Chicken, avocado, and cucumber spring rolls with a soy and sweet chilli dip.

- Backweat soba noodles in dashi soup, topped with Teriyaki chicken, wilted spinach, spring onion and toasted sesame seeds.

 

- Smoked salmon, beetroot and cucumber sushi rolls.

- Steamed broccoli.

- Rice wine pickled red cabbage.

- Atsuyaki egg rolls.

This "Izakaya" night isn't a 2 or 3 course dinner. We're serving around 10 dishes, along with several sharing plates.

Enjoy all the tasty food while drinking and chatting with family and friends!

- Teriyaki smoked mackerel, beetroot and cucumber sushi rolls.

- Panko chicken katsu skewers with Tonkatsu brown sauce.

- Sanuki udon noodles with shichimi seven pepeers and tempura onion ring.

"Katsu Curry" is a crispy, golden-fried cutlet served with rich and flavorful Japanese curry over rice - comforting, hearty, and abosolutely delicious!

- Steamed pork and ginger dumplings with tonkatsu sauce and mustard.

 

Main & Sides

- Japanese mild curry and steamed sticky rice topped with crispy panko chicken katsu, brown tonkatsu sauce.

"Teisyoku" is a well-balanced meal where every dish complements the others - jusy like a comforting home-cooked meal in Japan!   

 

Beginning

- Niku-Jyaga - Homely Japanese dish of simmered beef, potatoes, and onions in a slightly sweet, savory soy based sauce. 

 

Main & Sides

- Katsu-ni - Crispy panko chicken cutlet simmered in dashi stock with eggs and onion.

- Soy, edamame and bambooshoot sticky rice.

- Spinach, leek and ginger miso soup.

- Steamed broccoli.

- Rice wine pickled red cabbage.

- Atsuyaki egg rolls.

YATAI Street Food Night - £32 per person 

This is a very casual supper night.

I'll be cooking popular Japanese street food dishes and serving them as they're ready.... Yep, just like a "YATAI" trailer on the streets of Japan! 

 

Nikuman pork buns

Steamed pork buns with Ankake sweet soy and ginger sauce. 

 

Edamame and avocado salad

Edamame beans, avocado and seasonal vegetable salad with a soy and garlic dressing.

 

Sushi rolls & karaage chicken plate

Teriyaki mackerel sushi rools, karaage chicken, atsuyaki egg roll and rice wine pickled vegetables.

 

Curry udon noodles

Sanuki Udon noodles in curry dashi soup, topped with wilted spinach, Panko vegetables, nitamago egg, spring onion and toasted sesame seeds
